Dramatic Dialogue: Contemporary Clinical Practice

This clinical workshop will present the principles of Dramatic Dialogue as developed in the presenters co-authored book, Dramatic Dialogue: Contemporary Clinical Practice (Published by Routledge, 2018). It will discuss contemporary perspectives on working with aggression, enactment, sexual material and​ more. ​ Atlas and Aron will illustrate the working use of Generative Enactment, the Prospective Function, multiple self-states, principles of analytic action and analytic traction, and the use of the analyst's mind. The workshop will include ​demonstrations​ and detailed examination of clinical moments, as well as clarification of theory and comparative psychoanalytic study.
