University Counseling centers have a unique, high-throughput, outpatient, and clinical perspective on the highly diverse college student population. While providing crucial clinical and consultation services, the Comprehensive Counseling Centers offer opportunities for treatment collaboration.  The centers are also one of the strongest homes of community psychology and prevention work. This workshop will focus on the Comprehensive Counseling Center Model used by the majority of university counseling centers, role of the centers in responding to and the prevention of suicide/violence, and the role of the centers in the training of Mental Health professionals.
