Program Narrative

DBT with Adolescents is a well-established Level 1 evidence-based treatment for suicidal adolescents and has been disseminated throughout the world.  DBT with Adolescents has been applied to many other behaviors and clinical disorders, including mood, substance-related, disruptive behavior, disordered eating, personality, as well as more complicated multi-problem teens. DBT with Adolescents has been used in many settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential, medical, forensic and school settings. Research evaluating the effectiveness of adolescent DBT with these different populations and settings continues. Learning DBT skills and strategies has never been more important given the exacerbation of mental health challenges from the pandemic.
