Our Accomplishments

  • Hold 5 in-person board meetings with 2 conference calls a year.
  • Hold student workshops on various topics of interest to graduate students, including internship, professional work after graduation, etc.
  • NJPAGS chair represents graduate students on NJPA executive board.
  • NJPAGS members-at-large represent students on the following NJPA Committees: Legislative Affairs (COLA), Diversity, Membership, Ethics, Program, and Publications.
  • NJPAGS campus representatives serve as liaisons between NJPAGS and their respective graduate programs.
  • Host a student registration table at NJPA conferences to seek out students in attendance and personally welcome them to NJPA/NJPAGS.
  • Use NJPAGS listserv for supportive email discussions
  • Encourages collaboration and networking through several social media sites including: Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
